WHEN DO I ARRIVE?

To make the most of your treatment and experience, we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will ensure that your appointment starts on time. Arriving late may deprive you of enjoying the full length of your treatment and experience. We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled appointment times. MOBILE SERVICES are available too. Please ask us.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Be comfortable. Your spa service provider is trained professionally to drape appropriately to protect your privacy. Please wear comfortable clothing to change into after your service. If you are having a pedicure with polish, please bring open-toed shoes to wear after your services. We recommend you leave any valuable jewellery or personal belongings safe at home. BARB`S Skin Care is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

BOOKING APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATION

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, as a courtesy to other guests and our therapists, 24-hour notice is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.

FACIAL treatment:
Consultation are always performed prior to your treatments and home care is recommended to help you heal and/or retain a rejuvenated, more youthful appearance.

PEEL Treatment:
It is imperative that auto-immune conditions be discussed with your service provider prior to treatment and post peel home care. This is to protect you from any reactions.  For optimal results and maximum benefits, an initial series of six peels should be applied two to four weeks apart while using Sanitas home care daily.

  • AVOID DIRECT SUN EXPOSURE until you have finished peeling
  • Do not exfoliate your skin for at least three days after your peel
  • Do not apply a product with Retinoic Acid to the treated area for at least three days
  • Wait at least ten to fourteen days after your peel for collagen or Botox injections to the treated area.

Caring for Your Skin after a Peel
The first evening after your peel you should not have to wash your face, however if you choose to do so, cleanse very gently with a gentle hydrating cleanser. Pat dry; do not rub. Depending on your skin type, moisturize your skin. It is essential to protect your skin from the sun following a peel. Consider wearing a hat, and sunscreen is essential for sun protection every day.

As BARB`S about a Post Peel Systems as a perfect solution for daily maintenance following your peel. The systems include all of the products you will need to care for your skin during the critical days following a peel.

WAXING Treatment

  • No retinol products have been used in the area where waxing is required
  • No medication that will thin skin
  • No sun exposure on waxed area at least 24hours before or after waxing (can result in extra sensitivity and sunburn)
